Terms and Conditions

Heritage and Country
Harpenden, AL5
United Kingdom

1. Introduction

Heritage and Country provides a concierge style service that introduces clients to third party suppliers who arrange sporting activities, travel within the United Kingdom, accommodation, catering, hospitality and related services. We are not a travel agency or tour operator. We act solely as a facilitator between you and the third party suppliers who deliver the experience. By engaging our services you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Our Role

  • We do not own, operate, manage or control any estate, shoot, lodge, stalker, fishing guide, skipper, transport provider or other supplier.
  • We do not make bookings on your behalf. We put you in direct contact with selected suppliers who confirm arrangements with you.
  • We do not handle, collect or process any payments intended for suppliers. All payments for sporting activities, accommodation, catering, transport and related services must be made directly to the supplier.
  • We consolidate supplier quotations and information for presentation to you. The contractual relationship for all services rests solely between you and the individual suppliers.
  • We have no responsibility for performance, service delivery, safety, cancellation, quality or conduct of any supplier. All liability remains with the supplier you contract with.

3. Service Fee

  • We charge a professional fee equal to fifteen percent of the total value of the confirmed bookings.
  • This fee is exclusive of tips, discretionary payments, surcharges, additional requests or expenses that arise during or after the trip.
  • Any additional arrangements requested after initial confirmation, such as changes to transport or personnel, will incur a supplementary coordination fee to be agreed before any arrangements proceed.

4. Notice Period and Cancellations

  • A minimum notice period of thirty days is required for all planned trips or bookings.
  • As we do not take payment for suppliers, cancellation policies issued by each supplier will apply.
  • Our service fee remains payable in full once introductions, quotations and arrangements have been provided, regardless of cancellation or supplier amendments.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for complying with all legal requirements relating to firearms, visas, insurance, transport, permits and sporting regulations.
  • You must ensure that all information provided to suppliers is accurate and that you have reviewed the terms and policies of each supplier.
  • You acknowledge that sporting activities involve inherent risks relating to terrain, wildlife, weather and the use of firearms.
  • You accept full responsibility for your own safety and conduct, and for the safety and conduct of individuals within your group.

6. Liability

  • Heritage and Country has no liability for loss, damage, injury, delay, cancellation or failure of performance caused by suppliers or by circumstances outside our control.
  • We do not provide warranties or guarantees regarding the suitability, availability or performance of any supplier.
  • You indemnify Heritage and Country against claims, disputes, losses or costs arising from your participation in any activity arranged with suppliers introduced by us.
  • Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.

7. Payment Terms

  • Our service fee is invoiced directly by Heritage and Country once supplier confirmations have been issued.
  • Payment terms are stated on each invoice and must be met as instructed.
  • Non payment may result in withdrawal of support and cancellation of any pending introductions or arrangements.

8. Changes and Amendments

  • Changes requested by the client after supplier introductions may require renegotiation with suppliers and may incur additional coordination fees.
  • We reserve the right to refuse changes that are unreasonable, unsafe or impractical.

9. Data Protection

  • Heritage and Country is registered with the ICO.
  • Personal information is used only for facilitating introductions and for administrative purposes.
  • We do not share or sell client information except where necessary to coordinate your trip.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Acceptance

By requesting our assistance or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
